Athletic Band Audition Request Form

This audition request form is for students that are NEW to our program and auditioning for the 2026-2027 school year. 

Brass, woodwind, and twirler candidates must submit an audition video. 

Percussion and color guard auditions are in-person with an option for submitting a video-taped audition. Percussion and color guard audition preparation materials will be posted as soon as they become available.

Please use a desktop or laptop computer to submit this form. The data does not always submit properly when using a cell phone.

DO NOT USE A SCHOOL EMAIL ADDRESS! Many school districts block incoming email from outside the district. Please enter a personal email address that is checked regularly. The Band Office will communicate via the email address provided. Please add band@unl.edu to your email contacts.

The in person percussion audition dates are May 16 and May 23. The color guard audition dates are pending.

Percussionists may audition on all battery and front ensemble instruments.

Candidates may attend one or both of the in-person audition days. The in-person audition dates are to be determined. Candidates also have the option of submitting a video audition.
